Jesse Drew was born on the moon to two S.H.I.E.L.D agents, Jonathan and Miriam Drew, he spent most of his childhood on the moon after the death of his father who turned out to be a double agent. Being back on Earth Miriam wanted Jesse to have as much of a normal life as he possible could, he was at the top of his class and made the honour roles throughout middle school and high school. During high school he met his future wife, Ellen. After high school Jesse ended up following within his parent's footsteps joining S.H.I.E.L.D where he was signed to the moon base he was born in to renovate, Jesse and his team were soon attacked by venomous space spider parasites, the only survivor being Jesse who managed to return to Earth. Jesse came back with an infection that was threatening his life but would be saved by Cindy Moon who had developed an isotope that ' stabilized ' Jesse's condition and granted him spider-like powers, thought he was led to believe that he required regular injections of her isotope to survive, due to that he left S.H.I.E.L.D and help Cindy form S.I.L.K where he became Cindy's right hand man under the name Agent 77. His time as Agent 77 he did whatever was asked off him, while also managing to keep a separate life where he could live with his wife and raise a family. Eventually Jesse would find out the truth about the isotope and gave his remaining doses to Gwen Stacy so that he could abandon S.I.L.K and go on the run with his wife and children. Or so he thought, while on the run one day Jesse came back to the motel they were staying in to find his wife and children's dead, heart broken and angered by the discovery Jesse promised to find whoever killed his family and to see if they worked for Cindy Moon.
